July 9th 2011, Today we were at the US Paddle boarding Championships at Redondo Beach CA. Hovie SUP team paddlers Spencer York and Krisztina Zur both took 4th place honors in their elite divisions. The competition was with to top paddlers in the work. Both paddlers paddle a new Comet model for the 1st time in this race and were very pleased with the speed and stability of the Comet... Hey! I got first place in the race this morning, it was a small race but was a hard 5.25 mile paddle. When I was about 3 miles out, I looked down and was paddling next to a whale shark! Scariest thing ive ever seen!
